Though she is making her role debut of Violetta, Rosa is no stranger to this opera. She told in an interview last year that it was in a small conservatory production of La traviata in her hometown Caserta that she met her husband, baritone Sergio Vitale. Violetta's famous aria "E strano… A fors'è lui… Sempre libera" was the piece she sang in Operalia final in 2010, for which she won Second prize and Prix du public (she also won Prix de zarzuela in the competition). She also has sung a concert of highlights of La traviata presented by Renata Scotto at Rome's Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in 2014.
